I have been a long time advocate for victims of PTSD. Survivors of physical, sexual and emotional abuse as well as survivors of war. This kinship and empathy didn’t come out of nowhere, but from my own personal battle with trauma, and the symptoms that lingered long after. I understand the unimaginable pain and damage caused from childhood abuse or any other form of abuse. The pain, anger and loneliness that plagues the mind and soul is relentless in keeping us small, stuck and isolated not only that but also prevents us from living rich fulfilled lives of joy, presence and connection to others.

Not feeling normal and feeling different was a life long theme for me, it took years to finally breakthrough old patterns of limiting beliefs, triggers, and negative thoughts. I was stuck in freeze mode, one of the trauma responses of feeling depressed and anxious and caught up in analysis paralysis that drove me crazy and even considered taking my own life. My life wasn’t changing because I felt stuck but didn’t have it in me to take action steps to change.
The childhood traumas I experienced affected my self-esteem, confidence and self worth as a child and into my teen and adult years. I cut myself short in opportunities for higher education, degraded my body, attracted partners that were abusive, took on unhealthy patterns/habits to cope; I used alcohol, drugs, and sex as a way to escape and distract myself from addressing the real deep rooted issues I needed to face. Which was finding myself, experiencing self love, acceptance and healing in healthy ways to find true growth and transformation.

I tried different ways to heal mentally and emotionally; everything from, yoga, massage, meditation, self help books, EDMR; along with diet and lifestyle changes. Although some of these modalities helped but I still felt stuck and in survival mode. I knew I wanted to feel free and desperately needed a breakthrough.

I finally reached out to a trauma coach online and began working with her to finally process my traumas through talk therapy. I also worked with an alternative healing coach that introduced me to microdosing and helped me with adopting healthy daily habits that changed my mood, help motivate me to find clarity in my purpose and goals; which then led me down the path to want to help others find their true healing potentials and help them face their traumas with courage and self compassion.

I believe someone’s story can be another’s survival guide to recovery.

I Know that we all have the potential to rise out of darkness and into the light and encourage others to do the same by facing their past traumas with courage and self-compassion. As someone that has survived various traumas in my life from the age of 5. Experiencing childhood trauma and abusive relationships to body trauma from a car accident when I was 18. I once believed there was no hope for me to be happy, thrive, and overcome all the pain I endured. I spent most of my life healing from trauma symptoms and experimenting with various holistic lifestyle habits, healing modalities and plant medicines. It wasn’t until I started working with a trauma informed-coach that I finally had a breakthrough. After sharing my trauma experience with her I felt lighter, less alone and liberated from my past stories that I carried with me most of my life. I realized that in order to heal we need to be willing to ask for support. This led me down more avenues for healing and reached out to an integrative healing coach that introduced me to microdosing and helped me to adopt healthy daily habits, that changed my mood, and helped motivate me to find clarity in my purpose and goals. Processing my trauma with someone helped me to move forward and regain control of my life and made me believe that there was hope for my future self that needed to emerge with self-love, acceptance and confidence. I spent several years in research and education to find holistic methods and healing modalities that had great success rates for trauma recovery so that I could share my findings and resources with others that experienced painful pasts. I received my certification in holistic nutrition and health at Institute of Integrative nutrition, discovering whole body wellness to living and understanding the importance of primary foods, what nourishes us off the plate. To create balance in each aspect of our lives that give us fulfilment and purpose. Later, I took courses to receive my trauma informed-coaching certification to enhance my knowledge of trauma and the deep rooted impacts it has on spiritual, emotional and physical wellbeing. I learned to cultivate the skills and tools to better support clients on their journey to healing past wounds, cultivate safety and help them improve their relationship with themselves.

my mission is to help others turn their pain into purpose and to find healing through self-love, acceptance and radical transformation.
